Sherry Rogers lived in the San Francisco Bay area of California for over 17 years. While living there she attended Foothill College and studied Graphic Design/Graphic Arts. After completing college she worked for over a decade as a successful graphic designer and technical illustrator with three high-profile engineering companies.

Working as a Graphic Designer/ Artist in the Bay Area she did technical illustration which required her to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as page layout programs. After using both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for over fifteen years she is addicted to digital illustration and an expert at both programs.

After relocating to Roseville, California, where she currently lives, she was lucky to be able to start illustrating for children. Sherry has illustrated 10 children's books and in contract for her eleventh.

While Sherry paints traditionally in acrylics and oil for pleasure, all of Sherry’s children's art is painted digitally in Photoshop.

Sherry is married, has a son, a daughter, two dogs, and one very old cat.
